Celebrate maritime traditions
Embark on Via Mediterranea 2026, the first major international crossing connecting La Spezia, Sète and Castellón aboard majestic traditional sailing boats. This unique trip will follow the rhythm of the major maritime festivals of the Mediterranean: Stopover in La Spezia (20—22 March), Stopover in Sète (31 March—6 April) and Escala a Castellón (9—13 April). Aboard the Santa Maria Manuela, a 67-meter Portuguese four-masted ship, or even the Grayhound and the Florette, experience the sailing of yesteryear: hoisting the sails, steering the ship, watching the sun set over the sea and sharing the life of a crew.
Each stop will be a discovery: traditional music, maritime gastronomy, local and international heritage ships. Between adventure and conviviality, Via Mediterranea invites you to enter the legend: a human and nautical odyssey in the heart of the sea that unites us.

The stopovers
The Via Mediterranea is a cultural circuit project connecting Sète (France), La Spezia (France), La Spezia (Italy) and Castellón (Spain), as well as their festivals dedicated to historic tall ships.
