Vera Cruz
The Vera Cruz was designed to be the most exact replica possible of the ships of the time of Infante Henri the Navigator. Visually, it is distinguished by its two large Latin sails decorated with the Cross of the Order of Christ, the historical symbol of Portuguese expeditions. Although its shell and appearance respect traditional wooden construction methods, the interior is modernized to meet current safety standards. It has contemporary navigation equipment, kitchens and sanitary facilities to allow deep-sea trips in relative comfort, while maintaining the authentic experience of old-fashioned sailing. He is a regular at large gatherings of old vessels such as the Armada de Rouen or the Fêtes Maritimes de Brest.
Le Florette
Florette is an elegant wooden brigantine, about 40 meters long overall for a master building of just over 7 meters. A traditional Mediterranean sailboat, it has more than 500 m² of sail area that gives it a sleek and timeless silhouette. Its wooden hull, spars and classic rigging make it a warm, lively and authentic ship, very popular with fans of old rigging. Designed for offshore navigation and the reception of passengers, Florette nevertheless retains the soul of a work ship, with a clear bridge, old-fashioned maneuvers and a unique maritime atmosphere on board.
Phoenix
Today, the Phoenix is much more than just a sailboat. Measuring 34 meters long with 372 m² of wings, it has become a real movie star. He took part in a number of prestigious shootings, including “In the Heart of the Sea”, “Poldark”, “Taboo”, “Frontier” and “Napoleon”. Recently, in February 2024, the Phoenix changed flag to sail under French colors. Based in Port-Haliguen, it is managed by the association “Les Voiles Océane” and continues to offer thematic cruises and participate in maritime festivals, thus perpetuating the tradition of tall ships while remaining a movie icon.
Pascual Flores
The Pascual Flores is a traditional pailebot schooner, built in 1917 at the Torrevieja shipyard (Spain). Originally, this sailboat with a wooden hull was dedicated to the transport of goods, in particular fruit, salt and various cargoes in the Mediterranean and on the Atlantic. A symbol of the golden age of sailing freight, it went through numerous changes in ownership and functions throughout the 20th century.
Santa Maria Manuela
Built in 1937 by the Companhia União Fabril (CUF) in Lisbon, the Santa Maria Manuela is a four-masted schooner emblematic of the Portuguese cod fleet. Initially designed as a cod fishing vessel, it sailed for over two decades on the banks of Newfoundland in Canada, representing Portuguese maritime expertise.
